Left some filets i did overnight in salted water, read somewhere it helps draw out blood and whatnot. Checked this morning and the filets had a bluish tint to them. This is the first year ive kept gills and wondering what the deal was. Any thoughts?
do you mean opaque? the salt water has a chemical reaction,why salt melts ice? you actually "cook" the fish in the brine,sushi time? GOD BLESSmo

Did poormans shrimp/lobster with em, crushed up potato chip coating, and baked....oh man im full now
