was going to stay in figuring ice was lousy, but i'm glad i didn't. parkin was tough not much plowed, but thank god for 4 WD.
still about 14" of snow but only 2" of slush. the pull was not easy. i had 1 run on a heavy shiner at 10 am and that was it for shiner tilts. i was jiggin with the showdown not seeing anything at all. i stuck the jig stick in the snow, and 2 minutes later it fell to the ice. but it was moving around. picked it up and holy smokes there's something on!!

fought like crazy..~17" fat slob of a rainbow. scale was home..doh! but i would estimate at least 2 1/2 lbs.
caught on the bottom! 10 FOW on a 1/4 oz jade green kastmaster with a big waxie

i let it go to get bigger

Very nice fish.  Oh and by the way that house behind you in the self portrait is for sale...only about 900K but if you owned it you could sit inside the boathouse and watch your tilts from the bar.

it's happened to me too... with a brown. it was in the shack. left to check the tilts and came back and it's just looking at the jig, so i intised him a lil. no tip to it. they seem to like that jig.
