MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
I just assemble my new EVO 1it a couple of weeks ago and I swear the damn steel seat assembly is where at least half of the 52 lbs. total weight is! I think I'm going to be ripping the entire seat assembly out and using a lawn chair!... It's called A L U M I N U M Eskimo!DN
I like the room. I don't like the weight of the seat assembly and I don't like having to anchor AT LEAST three spots in the skirt. They provide six anchors and six holes in the skirt and on a windy day, you'd want to have them all in the ice. The anchors are used to maintain the structural integrity/stability of the shack, not to just prevent it from blowing away, but make it really not portable and a pita to setup, especially in the wind. You have to put the small end of the shack into the wind or it would just be a cluster bleep anchoring the whole thing.DNchilly-willy - It's not aluminum. That's the issue. It's friggin' heavy arse steel and steel tubing. If it was aluminum, it'd be a hell of a lot lighter than it is right now!
