3 lines in Saskatchewan?
« on: Dec 20, 2013, 06:41 PM »
I had an idea last weekend to take the hooks off of my Rapala rattling lure and just use it as an attractant on a third line. Anyone know of any laws that might prevent me from doing this? Or is this something I should have thought of a long time ago? I mean I'm still using the legal amount of hooks!

Call a CO office and ask. I wouldn't chance it going by something on the net just call or email them to get an answer

s.20(b) of the Fisheries Regulations: No person, while angling, shall: use more than 2 fishing lines in ice-covered waters
s.20(e) of the Fisheries Regulations: No person, while angling, shall: attach more than 4 hooks to any line.

You can't use more than 2 lines in any situation, hope this helps! I have my law books right beside me so its word for word the regs I thought were relevant to your question, hope this helps bud, good luck.
