Geauga County had tracking snow Saturday afternoon, 11/28.  Some small ponds & backwaters were frozen.

Went out to my deer stand this morning. My small pond (1/2 acre) was iced over. Has been for a few days. It will be gone by tomorrow I'm sure. Next week looks like some decent cold but with Ohio I'd guess we have awhile yet. Oh yeah...missed an easy shot this morning >:( Can't even blame it on buck fever...was a doe.

Yea, we had a skim on the pond yesterday, gone today. With this cold front comming in we should start to see some forming.

I have gotten 3 deer this year, one a nice 10 pointer so now I am wishing for some ice. Hoping with the cold weather coming we will be on Indian by Christmas.

I think by next weekend Long Island should be frozen, if we dont get any rain. The 10 day forcast is looking good for making ice. Now all i need is a new FL22. I have the FL8 but shes looking for a new home!

The forcast for the next 7 days looks real good for use. Lets hope the wind stays down too. I'm ready! Had some real nice gills from Long pond last week before I put the boat in the barn.
