Gull or lac saint ann?

If you where looking for whites which would you hit going monday fished gull lots finally found them there but they dont want to bite my line ever. Can be using same thing as a guy 10 feet away he gets limit i get skunked if you want to come show me what im going wrong that would be great too. ill be leaving edmonton aroung 5:30am so PM me with your thoughts thanks in advance.
