Candlewood Lake conditions?

Anybody know  the ice conditions at Candlewood?

from what I've seen it is still solid, quads are still sighted although specific areas might have bad edges.  lilly shepaug is shot due to lowered water levels and ice heaves

Went by the lake from Danbury to New Milford and saw 1 guy jigging yesterday. From the looks of it there was plenty of ice but the edges seemed to be open for 2-3 feet. I think with a plank you could get on. Also noticed the warden scoping out the guy with his binocs from the side of the road, first one I saw all year and I wasn't fishing. Good Luck and be safe!

It sounds like Newmilford/sherman part of cwood is the section to fish as of now.Any info out there.
