Did you try Northwood country store.(gulf station just west of Jhonsons dairy bar)on rte 4 last I knew they had shiners

As of last weekend there was still about 16" but the shoreline is starting to go, I saw a guys four wheeler go through on the shoreline along Gulf Rd. ( only about 3 ft deep )

Driving home today, the culvert by the ramp is opening up and the ramp is all beat up. There's only one shack left out there. I'd say you should be good for this weekend, but if the temps stay up around 50-60 It will go pretty quick as it's mostly white ice & I defanitely woudn't drive a vehicle out there now.

Went to Pleasant today. The ice all in all is about 10". Definetely some melting going on, but still pretty safe. Boat ramp is very chopped up, but still negotiable. Only 2 houses left out there. Probably wouldn't risk any motorized anything out there. Someone must have gone through at the ramp trying to take a bobhouse off, as you can see the ice is crumbled. (I just walked around). Holes are not freezing over, so if you just have a chisel, you'll be fine. I really didn't need my auger at all. There are holes everywhere!! Caught 2 nice Rainbows (16" + 18") only on Berkely Power Eggs (pink, green eggs) just a bit from the end of the ramp. May go back Sunday if all is well. If you like yellow perch, those too were biting tiny jigs, but I wanted those 'bows! Good Luck

you can still walk out to the left and right of the ramp.. i was the only one there yesterday, i pulled in at
8-830 and not one car in the lot not one person on the ice fishing, didnt see anybody all day but i thought i might have seen somebody by the ramp later in the day but that was it

We were there all afternoon by the ramp. We parked right behind your little red beater. Going back Sunday. Maybe meet up?

Stopped at the ramp today on my way back from work. A group of 4-5 guys just got through pulling their shack on to shore.
They must have had a tough time because the area just left of the ramp is now all busted up and two of them had wet jeans

The ice should be good for the weekend but the shoreline is quickly turning to crap, Probably a good idea to keep any vehicles off now.

theres no way to get vehicles on now anyways, yup that was my red beater, i was quite a ways out i never fish the ramp, just took pics so everyone can see the mess
