WoW, What a day at the Ohio Ocean...The Saugeye were hot today...Limit of 17+ for my son Sam and I was able to ice a 20.8" Saugeye...they are being finicky only taking a jigging presentation (dead sticks were indeed dead) but the fish were marking ALL day on the LX-3 and Vex FL-8 at Fairfield Beach...one of my personal best days on the lake I love...Going back for more tommorrow...8' feet of water with most fish caught around 6' suspended...used a Green Swedish Pimple and Rapala Perch Jig...small crappie minnow or pinched minnow jigging was the key...Look for the Flag of the USA and stop by to say "hello"...JohnBoy, you missed a GREAT Day...BTW, thanks to the Michigan Ice Shanty Family last week at Houghton Lake..A good fishing trip was had at HL..the 2.5 pound largemouth was a surprise that I will remember...2BIG
