Lead sinkers

New regulations state you can not use lead sinkers less than one ounce. What do you use in place of these ?

Jim, use the search engine and type in lead alternatives and you will find a lot of info
on compliant terminal tackle.  For split shot, just use steel, it's cheep.

Not sure I have ever seen steel split shot, plus it would be harder to crimp.  Typically non-lead split shot is something softer than steel like tin or an alloy.
