I am pretty sure I hiked into the same lake last weekend. It was one after another and we even were catching them without any bait.

Now I know you are on crack,  my "common rail injection" Cummins is quieter than what you drive I bet   :P     next time I see you,  lets hook your "whip" up to the back of my Cummins, and have a pulling contest,  I'll drag you around like a rag doll    ;D

Duramax  Pfffffff   good luck,  Automatics are for gurls    ;D    and good luck with your transfer case,  It will fail,  they all do,   google  "duramax pump rub"    The clip holding the oil pump in the transfer case is faulty, the pump then rubs a hole in the case, the oil leaks out, and it seizes up.      BAHHHHH  ha ha ha ha ha     JUNK     ;D

The funny thing here is that Ian is only going on wise-cracks, not knowledge. because if he knew anything about diesels, he would know that the older diesels are noisy because of the injection system,  it wasn't very refined,  but with todays technology and the fancy new injection pumps, and common rail injection systems,  engineers have made injection timing very precise and quieted down diesels ALOT,   but  whats even more funny to me is Ian thinks Cummins are louder than Duramax, this is funny to me because if he knew what he was talking about, he would know that both the cummins and the duramax share the exact same fuel injection pump  !!!!!   the CP3 pump is on both engines, which is the part which is responsible for making them quiet.   If he still cant hear me now,  it must be because his transfer case in his Duramax just exploded       ;D

All I'm gonna say is, GM and Ford needs 8 cylinders to make less power than what Cummins can do with only 6 cylinders,    ;D  less moving parts too, = reliability   ;)

Yeah but you got to admit that the Chev out rides the Dodge though.

I agree,  Chev rides smooth,  but take it off road, and the sucky ground clearance gets you stuck   ;D

So since I'm a technician at an independent shop, I'm not going to tell you then what usually comes in our shop on the hook then.  ;)2
