Went to a local lake in search of Smallmouth bass through ice, I catch many during open water so decided to go to the same area on hard water and it paid off. No fight to them since their so lethargic in winter. It was still fun to catch these beauties. Just remember to bring them up slow so you don't damage the bladder.
