Where can one get a swedish Lazer online?
« on: Jan 24, 2010, 01:16 PM »
I need the lower half of my Ice Gator and the stores will probably all be sold out when I would actually be able to make the purchase personally.
I have been looking around online and made some emails with no responses.

probably going to have to call them on the phone, but I think all the Lazers now are china made.  My Normark Finbore III is sweden made.

The new lazr's are made by mora of sweden.  I just bought an 8 inch drill a couple of days ago.  They don't use the chinese blades anymore.

Yes.  They are using the swedish blades again.  I have a brand new one I just picked up last week at strike master.  It says clearly on it "made in sweden"

I called Strikemaster last month and they currently sell both sweeden and china made augers.

I got a china made lazer (bought this year) and I just called them and complained about it. and they sent me new blades.   now its good to go.

BTW.  from looking at the china blades and sweeden blades sidebyside.  The china blades are not even close to the same in quality

Yes I heard they have had terrible problems with the made in China blades. Glad to here they are now going
back to quality instead of quantity and cost. It takes years to build customer relations but only a few bad
choices to ruin your reputation. I worked in manufacturing for 17 years and saw this first hand. This is great
news for us that support and buy from the Strikemaster Corporation! ;D

i bought a 6 lazer two weeks ago, it came with china blades.  And now as i just went and looked at the box, its made in China.  But one could get confused because it says Strikemaster Corp. MN, USA made in China.  But i got swede blades on the way.
