although we're not into hotttt spices, we first tried emerils essence a few years ago and found it lacking a little punch. so my wife played around with a few spices and found horseradish powder (very hard to find item) and kicked it up a few notchs so to speak we use it on so many different foods and wouldn't be without it. as far as fishfries, we use cornflake crumbs alot after dipping filets in eggwash and deep frying in peanut oil on high heat. grumpymoe
does corn flour taste better or is that just a matter of what's in the cupboard?
