Anyone interested in hitting lake macbride tomorrow? I'm thinking of giving it a shot. Pm me if you're interested.

Macbride ice is sketchy especially after the lowered water level. Bluegill don't get a chance to get larger than hand size due to giant Shad but wipers are giant if you can keep up with them. 10lb plus sizes make a fun fight on hard water. I'm going now to scout cabin fever as heck!

Lowered the water level?  MacBride is not affected by the water level of the reservoir, except for 1993 and 2008.

The ice I have been on is 4"-7". Mostly clear were you can watch the cracks.
There are some places by the cottage and dam areas I would stay away from.
