Ice on West O. is pretty touch and go, found as much as 6" and as little as 1" yesterday.  If anyone ventures out there be CAREFUL!!  It has changed a lot since last weekend.

Any word on the ice conditions? Are the grade/anglers bay areas ok to try? I know the weather has been lousy for ice , but would like the come up there this weekend if possible.

Think they may have done away with the reports and conditions section.....  Anglers is okay and the grade should be okay yet for foot traffic.  I'm going to wait another day or two so I can get the wheeler back out.

Going to need a sledgehammer brigade to bust down the heaves at the accesses.  And a vplow or 2 to keep up on them before they get to bad.  4-8 Inches of snow tommorow and strong winds out of the NW will surely have ill effects.  There will be some snowbound wheelhouses after tomorrow im guessing.

If you are staying at Kabeles out there they will have all the info you need.  That place is great!!!  They have a bait shop next to the lodge!!!
