was out at Fulsom today (Sat-26th) and caught a few decent bluegills. Ice was about 5-6" thick and we had no trouble getting onto ice from boatramp.
I fished Mile Hill last Sat over in SW corner near the xmas trees on top of ice..we fished to the south of them in about 18-20ft of water..there is already brush sunk in that corner and fish are hanging around it. We caught about 10-15 fish...mostly bluegills and did catch 2 small crappies. We fished from about 1:00-3:30pm on both days so not prime time but good to get out. We walked the face of the dam on shore to get to the SW corner and good ice to get onto lake.If I was to fish it again,I'd do the same thing just to make sure I was stepping on good ice..Ice was 12"in that corner once we got out where I wanted to fish..probably not that thick now, but still good enough to fish on.
