Hi guys, just wanted to see what everyone is using for sonar.  I use a combo unit from Garmin, the 440s, that I pulled from my boat and retro fitted into a camera softpack to make it portable.  This unit is gps enabled and has the upgraded inland lakes software.  The inland lakes software allows me to cruise around the lake and find structure, drops, humps and shoals a lot easier without taking soundings.  This means less hole to drill to zero in on where I choose to fish. Once your at your spot and on the fish, having an underwater camera adds yet another dimesion to fishing.  To be able to see the action of your jig and how to make your jig mimic a wounded bait fish is invaluable.  For me I'd rather hit ten spots a day than put out a ton of tip-ups and do the wait and see approach.  What do you guys think?
"Hope" is not a good fishing strategy!
