headed to pleasent next week, any one got any input on parking? acess? and how much snow is on the lake can you get a wheeler out there?

someone that lives right on the lake plows his yard for parking i think you pay like 5 bucks to park all day

you better get there eraly if you want a spot to park

this is the number to call and reserve your parking spot  672-4059. was there saturday and there was a from 0 to 8" of well packed drifted snow on the ice. if youre wheeler is 4wd you should have no problems...good luck

There are two areas where you can park up there.  You can park at Chris Youngs private parking area for vehicle $5 veh w/Trailer $10.  Or you can drive around the NW side approx 1 mile park  for $0 and walk or sled in to lake, it is about a 1/4 - 1/2 mile in.  stay away from center of lake as of Thursday there was only 2-4 inches of ice and slush.

mbait...we drove to the other area thats free you speak of. 2 questions 

1. didnt they pass an ordinance that says you cant park on the side of the roads? this area just seemd to be plowed out but definately the side of the road    we had reservations already so parked in the private lot

2. is that private lot a public boat launch?

When you go out the NW rd look for fire lane 10 there will be an area plowed out for approx 15-20 cars and free of charge. yes camp owners have complained and there is no parking along the sides of roads. And that is a Private boat launch owned by chris Young.  My wife and I have caught 5 nice lakers up there in the past couple of weeks and had alot of fun with a new aquaintance named Dave.

I am glad to see that Pleasant Pond is spelled correctly. The place is a joke on weekends. pretty soon you will not be able to fish anywhere that someone has already been. But it is all fun
