White Fish in Michigan?
« on: Jan 30, 2007, 09:08 PM »
Has anyone here gone fishing for them or know of places to catch them? I have heard Fletchers pond in Alpena but was seeing if any other areas have them.

We go right at the start of rifle season.  Off the 9th st. bridge when they are running.  I dont think they would be @ fletchers floodwaters, its a bit to shallow there, but ive seen stranger things   I have no clue on any other places cuz i just started to fish for them 2 years ago.

Crystal lake-Benzie county off railroad point, Higgins lake off west, and south sides. Both produce great numbers and size through the ice.
