I predict that I will catch a buzz and have the girlfriend drive home at least 75% of this year. Fish would be a bonus, fish in the trophy size will be a surprise.

Yeah the damn tree huggers from southern ontario are killing us in the north they think trout should only be open 7 months of the year closing it a month early now, they knocked the limits down and put a slot size in to. I'm even lucky to see another machine or fisherman all winter on the lakes I fish like we need any of that . I better quit my rant cause I can go on for hours about this lol. Im not worried you guys need all the help you can get

Slot size- ya none of that stuff in BC.
Ya weird why they would do that- not much pressure for ice fishing in Northern BC in winter time- lakes close to towns get some but not much at all.. I guess we are only the strong and the brave.. More ice to fish for us hehe

first year its not a category.

the Canadians are going to go welld this year as well as the western states of the US. I think PA, NY, and maine will take a spot or two in the categories though. maybe even a spoiler spot for you guys.

I would not be so sure of that. I know 3 guys that are members that regularly get 15+ inch perch but the lake that they are caught in has not been good to ice fish for the last three years for more than a week or 2 each season.

as many as you "think" you can..... but the actual "winners" may disagree with you....

I don't think they want anybody to 3 peat in a category the perch category....

I had a chance once but moved away from my home area.

At least you had a chance with still being able to fish familiar waters for your third try.

Just because I don't enter many fish doesn't mean I'm not catching some big ones. I wont enter a fish in the tourney unless it will either be in first at the time of entry or win the whole thing.

Won the raffle, autographed hockey stick by Bobby Orr, and a watercolor painting of all of his sweaters autographed($400)
and won the cash prize
Needless to say I was embarrassed.. it was a charity tournament
