I am off 4-6 of Jan, 18-20 of Jan, 1-3 Feb, Basicly every other weekend.  I am headed down to Falmouth Bait and Tackle this weekend to get all new lines for my tip ups and grab a bunch of other stuff.  I just got a new Jeep wrangler 4 Door so i have to see if the Ice Clam will slide in the back.  I'm thinking it will so if we take that and the heater we will be jigging in T-Shirts! LOL  Also I shot a Deer so I should have plenty of Jerky and Venison hot dogs!

Keep in Touch,
Mack

PS: Havent been Rainbow trout fishing in a while.  Hopefully it gets cold enough down here so we can get some on the ice.

Sounds different, I would try them. I can't get my fids to eat deer meat but my little girl sure likes that beef stew(LOL) I won't tell her til she is older.

Yes they rock!  The guy I bring my Deer to is a National/International Jerky champion and a National/International Sausage champion.  His place is in South Edmeston, NY.  I will be bringing Deer Jerky and Deer (german hot dogs & Jalapenio hot dogs). I will also be bring some Wild Turkey Tenders.

WILL DO!  Wont be for a while though.  Its been 40+ during the day and around 34 at night.  Peters is over rated...you should try other ponds like Shubel and others around the sandwich area.  They stock alot of trout in them.  Peters is stocked but it is huge.

There's a lot of talk about ice up on the mainland....2 - 3 is a bit too "iffy" for me but if this weather keeps up it won't be long. I just moved back here from Michigan so I guess I'll have to forget about the walleyes.
I've been doing ok on the trout until the skim ice covered the pond here. I even showed a couple of Barnstables finest how to catch them on ultra light tackle the other day. They didn't even know that there were trout in there! Can't wait to get out on the ice!
