Steelheading waiting for ice
« on: Dec 07, 2009, 11:29 PM »
I have been going down to orofino Steelhead fishing. It has been decent  We have been using a 1/8 oz black Jig with a white head. hoping the cold will rev em up. There is a new jig at Black Sheep in Coeur d' Alene called the "Steeldead Jig" its from a company called No Limit Tackle. They are in the black packages. I checked out there website nolimittackle.com pretty cool. Its two younger guys from North Idaho and they seem pretty hardcore. Black sheep is out of there white and black but I called No Limit and they told me they have a bunch but the sheep won't re order till they sell out of more colors. but they said they will ship whatever you want to you if you send them a check. I have two dozen on the way now. Anyway hope the Ice comes fast I can't wait.

The ice is coming.  I live in the Garwood area and its -7 this morning.  Round lake had 2 inches of ice on Sunday, so it won't be long now.
