Latest Update>>>>>> This past weekend yielded a schwack of peamouth, about 6 whitefish, about 10 slimey suckers, 6 rainbows, 2 little lake chub, and about 10 burbies, only kept 1 burbie, because his guts (swim bladder I guess) puked out of his mouth. (he was deep) Most of those fish were caught on Saturday, Sunday was miserable, only fished for 40 minutes, and got 4 burbs

Yeah I know what you mean. Me and the wife fished all day yesterday. There was so much snow on my tent roof that it collapsed.

We caught 11 burbies but nothing big, all released.

Today we spent an hour outside on the ice to try to get Lil Guppy into a Rainbow. She got her upgrade, and all I got was a little Laker, and a bunch of Sculpins.

..... and it wasnt too long before I iced a few "Burbus Maximus", I kept 4. 1 was a bleeder, and 2 had their swim bladders blown out their mouths (deep water), and the 4th one looked nice and fat, and looked just too good for the table

Nice burbots bud. Some guys just never think when they chase game. I shot some deer in Ontario that had been chased by wolves. Lungs were all scarred up from breathing heavy in the cold air.

-awesome pix and good setup- looks like youll be back in the groove now yer winter colds done for the season.. them are some good lookin burbys there..
-keep them pix comin -hopefully a 4 foot laker will come out of one of them holes now...

I caught some fish today with a good buddie, he outfished me...

the video is uploading to youtube as I type, it was our last horah to try to save TGF's hair, I'll post soon

We fished for some Burbot on Friday Night, caught a little one, then Saturday we tried a new spot for Bows, we caught a few small ones too, nothing to brag about. I planned a trip into a remote lake, but it didnt happed

Then we went back to "COLD SWEAT LAKE" for another try, but we got skunked, totally, no fish, we covered the entire lake, tonnes of holes, and tonnes of shrimp came out of the holes. we didnt even see any fish on the sonar, but it was a beautiful day, and access this time was real easy
