rookie post from the cove

Hey guys, figured I'd finally join after being a guest for so long. Hit the cove for the first time ever thursday afternoon. Thanks to Blain for a little info and some pike rig setups.Lots of perch jigging ,no flags. Went back on friday and setup 4 flags.I think I was just left of Blain's cadilac rig. We got some nice Calico's ,1 huge bluegill and 1 ,4 lb pike. Funny thing on the tip ups.we got zilch on the bought bait.We started to put on those pondies (I think ?)that we were jigging up and away things went.2 biggest calico's took them on the pike rigs.

went there today and jigged up a lonely smelt, lost a swedish pimple on something too, one ghost flag...reminds me why i dont fish that cove often, i usually fish for bass and pike so i prefer other coves, seems like alot of perch and crappie but not many toothy guys in there..oh well
