I haven't gone that way yet, hopefully one of these guys have checked it.

Do you fish any other mid west or south west lakes or res?
Next time you go to cwood let me know how many fish you didnt catch.

Drove by on the 23rd and the wind had most of it open water. Ice was forming near launch but the wind is stopping it from icing good.  Candlewood was the same in NF bay, launch area. Not sure about it now, might take a ride next week to check out.  ed

egriffen you are a local NICE!

have you gone any where in town?

I was at the danbury town park yesterday fishing off the launch the ice is about 4inches plus with some spots having 5inches of frozen slush on top

3 flags went up along with a bunch of random alewives coming up to the bottom of the ice
Next time you go to cwood let me know how many fish you didnt catch.

I was at ball pond yesterday, 5-6 inches of ice and slow action on tip ups.  I was using my new flasher also and was pulling up some blue gills before dark but could not stay long. I plan on doing some fishing this weekend, going to finish out my bow season the next 2 days in Easton.
I drove by Danbury town park yesterday around noon and seen the slush, did not see anyone out. Thanks for the info
