With or without Bacon??

 I was just looking at a picture from 2 years ago of a couple trout I caught....I found this bacon in one! What is your best find??

I found an old beat up hali jig one time as a kid bass fishing. Wasn't sure what it was, until high school when I started ice fishing.  Caught hundreds of perch on that thing until a pickerel decided it wanted it more than I did.  Not sure if it's my BEST find, but one that certainly makes the list.

Found a big hook with a plastic bomb looking bait deep in the belly of a pike last summer.  Hit it with the fillet knife and had to dig it out to finish cleaning the fish.

Yes another welcome to our vtarmyvet!  It sounds like you may have been fishing in Canada, must've been a prototype lure...those Canucks can take their fishing serious! I fish out of the northeast hope to see you on the ice...good luck!

Thanks for the welcomes.  No, didn't catch it in Canada, my son caught it in Malletts Bay.  It wasn't anything new or prototype, I just can't think of the type of plastic bait it was.  Wasn't a senko or a crawfish, wanna say it was a monster something or other.

I never had Pike till a couple years ago, first one I caught was on Paron pond...37"    it took me 2 days to eat it and was some good living!
