We all should have a derby, $5 admission have a lunker pole and multiple catagories just for kicks..it would be fun.. and it had alot of structure and alot of fish!!

Just to keep it fair, you should have a live weigh in at fish and game headquarters.

you have a better chance of seeing god than getting a permit for a bass derby.

do it on a sat. or sun. We mite not want to call it a derby so we don't have to register it with F&G. If they read this site they may try to have a field day on us. I have never fished it but I would give it a try.

i would definately not call it a derby and stick with the gathering title and come up with a different reason to collect money in case someone asks. I did this on baboosic last year and it worked well, minus the fact that jibbs ended up taking it all...

i would be down for a derby at pawtukaway never fished ice there before but who cares?.....Last weekend i went to a Bass/Pickeral Derby at Northwood Lake and the guy who ran the derby told our group if F&G came around to just say it's not a derby because i guess you have to pay a 20$ fee for having a derby now and let them know 2 weeks ahead of time

...........so im not too sure what the deal is but hey i got 2nd place Bass!!

I THINK ITS A GREAT IDEA BUT I ALSO THINK IT SHOULD BE SOMWHERE MORE ACCESSABLE THOUGH AS PAWTUCKAWAY IS NOT EASY ENOUGH FOR SOME TO GET INTO TO ..JIBBS SUGGESTED ONWAY LAKE..

Alton bay is easy access and lots of parking or merrymeeting the same.

Only problem with Massabesic is you have to walk on to where ever you want to fish. No vehicles allowed :-(

we had a little derby on pleasent lake in deerfield last year in march here fishy fishy had set up and that went pretty well

Why not just do Newfound then. easy access in plenty of places, diverse fishery from bass to lakers. Basically in Central NH and plenty of ice.

I am in for anywhere though, just need a week or two's notice if possible

How about baxter!! plenty of parking there!! close to all of us!! lets try bass tourney through the ice!! i love pawtuckaway but the parking there is kinda scarce!! baxter is a great fishery!!on bow i recked way too many augers hitting rocks trying to set up for trout!! or a nice day on madbury res. day of crappie fishing have a great big fish fry !!
