Just got back from Temagami on Monday, stayed in John`s ice cabins, great time, He can`t do enough for You, John and His Wife did a fish fry on Saturday for everyone in the area, it was great, cabins on 90 feet of water, day cabins on 50 to 60 feet, fourteen to eighteen inches of ice, no one driving on the ice yet, too much snow, so John takes You out in a caboos behind his sled, I got whitefish, buddies got lakers which had to go back, too early, pickeral several in the slot and one big one which went back to be a Mommy, Ling cod all around and boy do they taste good. It was very very cold, minus 33, pressure cracks all Sunday night, one or two shook the cabin like a rag doll. Had a great time and booked for next year it was so good, and no mudpuppies like Nippissing. Hope this helps. Magnum.
