Time to quit lurking and introduce myself.

Since this is mine and my sons favorite hobby, I thought it was finally time to introduce myself.  I've learned tons just reading, and hopefully someday I can make a contribution to the wealth of info on this site. Hopefully we'll get some ice soon. Name is Garrett.

Welcome aboard. I love your board name. Most of these guys here are pretty knowledgeable. They are very generous with sharing their knowledge. I would recommend that you ask it in an open board. Then you get everybody's input. But PM's work too. Again Welcome!!!

Thanks! I'm not new to ice fishing but after spending a small amount of time on this site I might a well be! I'm lost in a sea of knowledge.  :)

Welcome to the shanty Ilivetofish, great user name. You got it. The sea of knowledge is vast on this site. I have yet to look thru all the boards but just maybe someday I will  ;D

glad to see you decided to join and become a member of the Utah ice shanty family this group of guys are the best and most knowledgeable or any other sight i have ever been on. you will see that this sight is so addictive that you cant stop!!!
