Fish and beers!!!!!There is nothing better in the world than ice fishing and drinking beer
I'm gonna try my hardest
When I went out this weekend it was more of keeping something different in their faces. If you have a fish finder such as a vexilar or a marcum or anything like it it will make thing a lot easier. Once I found out where I thought the fish might be, I drilled probably thirty or so holes over different depths, and once I started fishing I would use a buckshot rattle spoon w/ a minnow head. I would jig it upa nd down and try to pound it on the bottom to stir up the silt. After probably a dozen or so holes and 30-45 minutes we started calling fish in and after my fishing partner caught one, it was on in terms of catching. We could get them on the same lure for ex. a spoon for a couple of fish and then they would turn off. Drop something else down there and it was on again. Tipping w/ spikes (maggots) minnows and minnow parts was the ticket.

I caught the 7.5lb brown last year out of Boysen. These perch were the ones that I got the trip this past week. If I had read the rules about the tourney this 13 1/4" perch would be in first place. Go team wyoming. Mental note, pictures have to be on the ice.Bill Bohman
