Does anyone know if the Passaic River is open or if there is ice on any bays or backwaters ??

some spots are frozen but not enough to walk on, just enough to stop you from fishing them.

Lol yea true I was on a private pond yesterday and it started to get slushy on top had a solid 7 of black with 2 of white on top

What lures are good in the river for pike at this time of year. I'm usually ice fishing but don't have safe ice anywhere
