Anyone use this particular tip down? Also is it considered a tip-up or jigging rod?

I don't have Arctic Warrior but it appears from the pic's I've seen it is a rod holder with a flag indcator. It looks like you would set it up as a rod holder and attach the flag indicator to your rod. When the rod is pulled down the flag is released and goes up. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think this is a tip down or slammer  ... simply a rod holder with a flag indicator.

So do a lot of states / provinces may a big stink on tip downs? or does it become a subjective matter with the wildlife officer?

In NH the rules state "ice fishing device" and they give specific examples which includes any type of equiptment basically - so I think that this just fits into the count.

In NY from the conversations we have had with our conservation officer they have determined it to be a rod holder. The reasonused is the rod and reel can be removed after the strike and then will be used as a hand line not a tip-up.
