Home Depot has a Ryobi 1/2 inch hammer drill and 2 batteries (4.0 AH) for $99. The torque spec seems to be 600 in-lb, which is on the light end, but if it works at all, that is less than I paid for my battery. I would only chance it if you use a 6 inch or less bit like me. There is a 3 year warranty, so if it did not work out, I suppose you could try to return it to Home Depot. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-18-Volt-ONE-High-Capacity-4-0-Ah-Battery-2-Pack-Starter-Kit-with-Charger-and-Bag-with-FREE-ONE-1-2-in-Hammer-Drill-PSK003-P214/312727786
