I have lacross ice kings and never get cold feet. At the sportmans guide they are under 100 bucks.

i have the lacrosse alpha ice kings. theyre 2 yrs. old and 7 of the rivets corroded and broke off! sending them back. hopefully they come good and either repair or replace them. theyre not cheap either! buddy of mine has a pair of the old ice kings from the '80's and they still work for him.

I bought a pair of lacrosse at cabelas, i think they were 2000 grams thinsulate, i can stand in ice cold water and not even notice.

Bean boots look nice, but for over $200 they should. Be careful of the bunny boots on ebay, they start off cheap, one guy sells them for $30 but then hits you with almost $60 in shipping.

used the mickeys when i was in the army. they were crazy warm but heavy as hell. if you gotta do any amount of walking id go w/ something lighter.

Picked a pair of these up last week. I got them specifically for the cold days on the ice. I have a couple other pairs of lightweight boots for hunting, hiking, etc. but wanted something to stand on the lake with when it got slushy and/or real cold out...these'll do the trick...

PS - They were also featured in an article about outdoor gear in the december issue of The Maine Sportsman...

i had arctic muck boots and my feet would sweat and get cold, but they got a hole during hunting my wife got me a bogs boots and think they are better fitting, but my feet still sweat but not as cold

Wifey got me some Bogs for Christmas. They look similar in style to the Mucks. They are the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet and are warm as heck, even while standing in slushy crap on the Lake. Do have to watch for sweating though.

I have yet to find a boot and sock combo that keeps my feet warm on those COLD days. I have tried pack boots and last year got the boggs cold weather boots. I even tried the battery powered wader socks still got cold. I run warm but not my feet. I tuff it out but some days I almost cry they are so cold. Anyone have any ideas? PLEASE

I would try some Mickey Mouse boots. U can pick up a cheap pair on eBay depending on your foot size.

Wait till you get to the lake to put your boots on, and put a fresh pair of sox on before you do that so your feet are dry. If you dont wear wool socks already, start. I prefer a heavy merino blend. On the especially bitter days i love me some toe warmers, kinda like that day up on Arod!! Im gonna pick up some new boots this season, not sure what route im gonna take though.

Get a white pair of mickeys. They are rated colder than black. I have both. I cant tell the difference myself. My feet have never got cold in either pair and we have some cold weather up here in the U.P. Traction really sucks as said earlier. Some put screws in thiers but I am afraid I will ruin them. They last a long long time too. Steve

i like my Muck Artic Pro's they are rated down to -60 and keep my feet plenty warm.

muck arctic pro - spent a lot of time and money to find them. break them in slowly (little stiff to start). I was amazed - very warm, fully waterproof (unlike goretex claims), easy on and off. For me now it is no question). Take care of them and your feet by wearing good socks

Same here, although I've never tried the Mickey's, I wouldn't think twice about another pair of Muck's if these were to ever give out.
