pike and perch with no ice

Well since we arent getting any ice. I was wondering if I could just chunk some live bait under bobers and jigs wondering if the will bite?also were to go sandy creeks a option.but I don't know if pike stay in it also braddock bay or longpond

I have caught pike in Braddocks all year round. Sandy too. Not too many in Long Pond, but I'm sure they're there. Caught one about 10 feet from shore in Long Pond. That's when we had ice. All three have perch in them all year round too.

Actually, I'll probably be on Long Pond all weekend with the long pole. That's if the ice receeds.

Sandy will probably be raging from the rain we're supposed to get. Have caught perch and just about anything there. Mostly at boat launch by parkway. Have had good luck on Yanty Creek too. Hamlin Beach Park if you didn't know where it was.
