Strong investigative techniques....

Was looking for a truck mounted auger carrier, and if ya "google" it, you can bring up info, images, etc. from a "tools" site on the left of the page. I often use the "images" option, then you click on the pic which takes you to the website. Faster than reading/scanning written info....took me to "augerbuddy.com"

i think the idea is that you send someone out dragging a long rope, he holds one end of the rope, you tie the other end of the rope to the auger, stand on the skiis, fire up the auger and with him holding the rope and the auger winding it in, off you go brilliant

I think your on the right track but you are suppose to lower the drill and have your buddy pull you and you can do some ice trolling when your done

Very cool yes, but I don't care how unstoppable it is, if it's on snow, it can get stuck. As someone who has ridden a snomobile for a long time and spent many an hour digging one out after trenching, I'd hate to get that tractor stuck!
