Eskimo Quick Fish 6 Repair

I have an Eskimo Quick Fish 6.  I am going on my 3rd and both of my top hubs have ripped through the tent.  Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas for a fix?

Have them sewn with leather at a saddlery.
