First Big Lake Trip

Found 3.5”’on one of the big lakes so BB and I went for it. 3 flags and zero fish there when we got to them but it’s good to be on trophy water. Back at it tomorrow, maybe the snow will help them get more comfortable and hungry

Nice getting out..... I'm waiting the weekend out and hitting it Monday and Tuesday. Can't wait to put a bend in my new laker rod.

Nice! At least you guys were able to get over some big lake water and dust off the ole slammers for the season!
After I hit some brookies at a small lake for first light, I put on some miles today . Checked lots of my spots on the big lakes but just water water everywhere. I'm amazed that even some of the secluded coves got nothing.
Got a few more spots on big water up my sleeve to try this weekend though.

Awful nice of you to draw Denny some Mushroom Art too. He'll be proud. Is that to scale?

Did you forget to hit Walgreens?

You could carve a similar pic-togram into our ice today.

Great scenery,  no fish.

.I though they knew that they were supposed to bite before a storm.

Are they telling us that there will not be a storm??
