I have a 2004 expedition, It has plenty of room for all my stuff and probably 2 other people. I do have to fold down one seat for my gas auger but I can work around that if I had to with a simple allen wrench.

I wrap my auger up in an old T-shirt and then a shopping bag to minimize gas odor and it does help. When I get to the ice, I hang my old t shirt to air out while I fish. I also use the t shirt to open and close my vent cap so my hands don't smell like gas.
