How many people do you guys usually get out there for this? I'm always out on Sabattus on the weekends with a few people would love to join in!

Hey everyone, not sure what the deal is with pikefest but I have a shack on Sabattus that could be used as a hangout and place to cook up some ice fishing grub (If I am around that weekend, when is pikefest?). So far the pike fishing has been really good there.

hopefully we can all agree that which ever pond pikefest is on, that it's easy enough to get to for those of us on foot, like me.

Ill go but if we fish sabattus all the pike i catch will be released back unless its a wall hanger

Keepah Sabbattus has good foot access. I fish it all the time and I am on foot

That may be true about the bigger but quantity is good at Sabbattus besides it is more about people getting together and enjoying the sport that we all love

new to this site but am interested in this pike fest. just started pike fishing 2 years ago . Been three times all on great pond twice at landing and once in north bay. caught several but the biggest only 11 lbs.what is the average size on sabattus? Will have a crew and several first timers its getting addicting more friends go every year.

Thats bigger then I've ever caught.....every time I go I catch bass......

Last year we did it on the 15th of March.....so probably sometime around then.....this was the big catch of the day....
