i personally would prefer to stand behind the big guy posing in an army shirt
more cover than the pretty boy marine
joking
actually i owe my life to marines
6 of us "flatcaps" out on an assignment and we were radioed to go help a marine platoon which was ambushed
2 hrs later we came in from behind and it was bad
i took a bullet thru the shoulder and off a knee pulling wounded outta fire
marine gunships and choppers carrying more marines came from kason and they kicked azz big time
it was an adrenalin rush for me and i carried on until i could barley move
and then the 3 wounded marines i pulled out and myself were covered by other marines and a medic until it was over

all who served/serve now/will served and in any branch are appreciated
my buddy a marine has this bumper sticker

sure we're a dept of the navy
the MEN'S DEPT.
