Nice fish, I sepnt 2 hours at the Sisters without graphing a fish. Sometimes it's best to bag it and move, which is what I did. I caught 3 bass around this size 15-16 inch range, kept one, let this big boy with the lure in his mouth go on his way after pics. Wound up with 15 keeper perch on the day. Sweet...LT finally catches a fish.  ;D

No did tough creek instead, what do ya mean slow  ;D I thaught I did pretty good considering all the fish reports I've been hearing. Caught all them in about a 2 hour span then the bite was over and I left.

a buddy and i were at sisters on monday... only 4 perch but they were nice ones. one older feller came by and visited for a bit, real nice guy with a trap shelter and vex18... sounded like he fished quite a bit and travelled for it. said he was hitting a tourney at meteetsee soon...

tuesday my buddy wanted to try badwater bay and that it was... the sisters were pretty clear but the water in badwater was stained or cloudy... we limited on 'bows and he lost a nice rod/reel and holder when it got SLAMMED right down the hole!  :woot:

our two biggest 'bows were 22" and 24" the rest were all a smidgin under 20"... big fatties! :icefish:

he didn't even get a chance to get out of his chair either!  ;D

overall the perch were slow and i didn't mark many in either spots... nice trip though!

ice was great and should hold for quite awhile...

How's the ice at Boysen? I haven't been there in about a month - had been too slow.  Was @ Pathfinder yesterday and with 30mph wind and temps about 50 the ice was starting to get honeycombed in spots and the water around the edges was rapidly increasing. It will definately plank time there by the weekend.  Had some buddies planning a trip there (pathfinder) this weekend, but if the weather keeps up I'm thinking about trying to get them back up to Boysen if that ice seems better. Any info on ice and/or bite is greatly appreciated.
wishin I was ice fishin

If ya go to Trout Bay, you can't reach the Sissies...big ole pressure ridge splits and runs looks like almost all way to Tough Creek. So if you want the Sisters, you'll have to go in from Cottonwood  ;) I think. Ask Gamb00ler. Don out

I always thought that they would have to be there.  The ling we caught there were gorged with crappie minnows.  Might have to give it a try.  I imagine they are suspended somewhere.  East or west side?  A few crappie fillets would be awesome.  I haven't had any in a long time.

Three of the guys that were going with us bailed the last minute so maybe we will see some of you guys out there this weekend.

You cant miss it its about 4 to 5 feet tall when I was by the sisters a couple weeks ago. not sure where it starts at towards wilson bay but it goes a long ways accross the lake.

Can someone tell me how early the bait shops open in Shoshone on Saturday? I would greatly appreciate it.
I'll have my radio on if anyone wants to give a shout out.

Thanks,
MM
