Has anyone worn these on the ice? I like the traditional rubber bottom / leather upper pac like the SCHNEE'S 10 Inch Extreme but...

Yep I got em. I replaced the insoles with some 3/8 inch thick cold weather insoles that I got from campmor.com These boots are warm enough for me and my weakness is cold feet. If can keep my feet warm then I am fine. I weak some polar tech fleece socks, but again cold feet are my weakness.

I also use them for late season deer hunting where you really cant be moving alot and they keep my feet warm then too. Feet never get wet from either water or sweat so that is good too.The price is pretty good too.
