good crappie bite

Hit my honeyhole this evening and almost got tired of catching them.... almost ;D

kept 16, returned another 30-40 to grow. still 18 inches of good solid ice so I drove the truck out.
Think i'll hit them again at first light, seems like that is when the bigger ones hit. has anyone else thought that?

Nice fish!  Seems like crappie are the fish of the month.  Maine is becoming a crappie state!
