I NEED HELP

i know its really late in the year but im going out every day after school and saturday and sunday to catch anything that will bite and i just got a whole bunch of little jigs and lures i was wondering how to find the perch and crappies in a lake any info would be great thanks

this site gives you most ponds and lakes in your area and whats in them. use this as a guideline as to what you might find in the body of water your gonna fish.  then i usually start ontop in the morning for gamefish (when i have found them the most active) then as the day go on i keep lowering my traps till they are just off the bottom and start targeting white perch.  if you do find them, try jigging the hole after you bring one up and it is part of the school you maybe able to pull a few more up.

Bang the bottom with the jigg 3 to 5 times ...wait ....then slowly start jigging up the water column... a foot every 30 seconds.... til you get a few feet under the ice ...then repeat.

 If some thing is there it will hit...

bounce around the lake as much as you can untill you find a school of them

It may take you a while to find the fish but it will be worth it. You will have to travel around the lake

By my self, I will walk a big loop and drill all my holes first, about 28 / 30 or so. Then clean and jig til I find fish.

Crappie are deeper now and yellow perch more shallow on flats, use light line for perch crappie!  tip your jigs with a wax worm or minnow/piece of minnow.  I drill a bunch of holes and go hole to hole jigging.

i know what are in the lake i hear all the stories about u guys catching boat loads of crappie and perch and bass and the occasioal trout i just dont know how to find them and what to use

Find someone with a vex and follow them
