3-22-08 pike.

tin ice jerid and I went down to the river and pulled 2 decent pike! Windy and the ice is breaking up fast.

Remember all the rubber worms in fish bellies earlier this season, it had this rubber shad stuck in its mouth!
It was about 31 inches and over 8lbs ( my scale only goes to 8 lbs) tin ices was right 4.5 lbs.

Are their fins orange/red from the spawn?  Those have better color.

Nope just the shad quite rusty, was probaly someone striper fishing last summer.
