its not a race... ive been a member of the site since 2004 and have a little over 300... a rookie that gets 600 posts the first season tells me one thing... they spend more time typin than fishin.. get out there and go fishin... contribute when you have something to say

well I've got as many  posts and as much time invested as anyone else on iceshanty and I've been out 41 times so far this season and will easily get another 10 outings under my belt before is over...how many times have you been out? 

nope its not a race but participating and helping others is fun!  you don't have to if you don't want to but why criticize others efforts?

yeah i know what you are saying, it is fun and helpful, but this season ive noticed a lot of people are getting concerned with "how many posts you have" like its some kind of race... just thought id point it out... not trying to be too negative here.. sorry for the bad start to the day

And you are right at the top of the list O4T when it comes to positive posts, sharing info., and offering kind words of encouragement......   heck, I know I would have quit my camp project last fall if you and Billdit hadn't kept pushing me along....   sorry about the trip to "secret pond" not working out this winter, it has gone to fast (fishing wise not shovelling wise)  there is always trolling O4T!  Congrats on 1000!

600??? It's quite a feat that I made 100 PoorBoy.  Maybe I didn't get out as much as I would of liked to due to work and home projects and not to mention snow storms every weekend but was able to check out the forum and see the pics and chat with the people who get out there way more then me and enjoyed every bit of it. Now go back to bed and try getting up on the right side this time
