It was an 8 inch hole, but each time I chipped it out it got a bit smaller so the opening was about 6 inches.

Very nice fish!

Is that what you were fishing for ?

Were you using a steal leader or floro ?

How deep ?  What size bait ?

Come on man tell the story ;D

man this was 2 years ago now, but here is the story: I was targeting tigers. I usually fish pike but was on the tiger hunt during that week. The trip before that I had a fish cut my 50lb flouro instantly as I set the hook, so that night I switched to steel. Headed back out a few days later to the same spot. Waited about 6 hours for the first flag. Set the hook and knew it was a good fish. I find that the tigers dont put up nearly the fight that a pike do, probably because they are less cold tolerant. Anyway, after a couple short runs, up she came. 38 inches. It ate a live shiner about 6 inches, 8 feet of water near a drop off.
