Another reason to never leave a pole unattended

...forgot this little ditty from Sat. AM:
Went into a permy on Sat am last weekend. Some moron who was there the weekend before left his line in the hole and the pole in a cabinet near the floor when he went to the bar. He apparently forgot it. When I went to drill a hole, his line (long frozen into the ice), wrapped around the flights on the auger and snapped the last 3" of his rod off which was wedged in the cabinet. Guess it's not that funny...just stupid.

I guess that will teach him but for his own rationale he will try to spin it to be your fault.

ANOTHER ONE! LOL....SWEET.
PS - He already called. Seems I left some pilkies on table in the permy. They are now hostges in the pole drama. He asked how I couldn't see the line. Sunglasses had something to do with it in a dark shanty.

I am surdrised he even remebered he put the rod there. YOu must have been honest with him os left it on the table. Usually you can not win a battle like that you can just be glad that you are not like that.
